Five for First Fall Murph at MMM

Event Date

Sep 30, 2019

Five PAX and one puppy emerged from the hot hazy humid gloom on this last day of September excited to tackle the Murph!

Not exactly true, but at least Hurley was ready to get after it. If we could harness that energy, we could power Mecklenburg County for years.

With Hurley’s inspiration, we were off, although BoarHog hung back with Hurley “so Hurley wouldn’t have to run by the cars.” Truth be told, when we returned, BoarHog was sitting on the benches smoking cigarettes listening to the smooth stylings of Kenny G. Not really, but that image made me feel better about the pace I was running and the corners I was cutting.

The Murph

1 Mile Run

100 Pull-ups

200 ‘Mericans

300 Squats

1 Mile Run

Moleskin:

It was a rough one today (or at least that is what Hurly said “ruff”). Judging from the silence of the PAX other than old man groaning, huffing, and puffing I think he was right.

The last mile started as a slow walk until Landline said, “I guess we should do this”. The PAX begrudgingly obliged and we began to run.

BoarHog crushed the pull ups. It looked like he was performing muscle ups compared to what every I was doing by the end of the workout.

Thank you to Cousin Eddie and Hat Trick for agreeing to sign up in October. The calendar is wide-open. Sign up if you can.

Thank you to all the PAX and the support you provide. F3 has been a life changing experience for me and will be in the future as well.
