As we kicked off October at The Viking, we did a CYOA of sorts.  Here’s how the story was written…

7 pax and one Boar Dog shuffled out into the gloom, not knowing what lay in store with Waffle House in charge of the plot. At 5:30, we ventured out into the park.

 

Warm-O-Rama

Mosey around the parking lot for a few minutes, incorporating A-skips, butt kickers, and karaoke.

COP – SSHx15, 2 burpees, ISTx15, 2 burpees, toy soldier x15, 2 burpees, cotton pickers x15, 2 burpees, slow squat x15, 2 burpees.

Mosey. At this point, JB asked if I was making it up as a went, and the answer was “sort of.” I had a rough idea, but was a little bit on the fly.  So we went to the rock pile and picked out a new friend.  Some friends were bigger than others, I think.  Here’s where the adventure began:

 

The Thang

150 curls oyo, but with the option to run to the stop sign and back, taking off 20 reps each loop.

120 front rock raises, with run option.

120 skull crushers with run option.

Rocks back – mosey to tennis court.

Line up on tennis court sideline, lunge walk first court, bear crawl second court, crab walk third court, sprint back to start.

Repeato, repeato.

Exit court, on six for Mary…

– The first guy to do a “choice” workout that I remember was Bama. Always liked it and was discussing it the other day with him.  Look for a Bama Q coming to an AO near you in November, along with other OGs.

– I think I got 10 counts from everyone today, and we got some planking and stretching in between sets.

– Everyone did some running, but some ran more than others.

– I think Cousin Eddie and Stapler had big rocks.

– Thanks Mayhem for taking us out and HAPPY 6TH F3-A-VERSARY!!!
