The Half Baked WIB @ The Foundary (Dog Park)

Who would have thought there was going to be so much mummble chatter this morning @ The Foundry. So to ensure that the PAX had plenty of 2nd F time while they were getting their 1st F on a WIB (workout in a bag) was in order. It's always important to give the PAX what they want but also give them an opportunity to push themselves as hard as they want. Hence the Half Baked workout aptly named for the location of the painstations positioned halfway around a 0.3 mile loop as well as the baked feeling experienced after completing the workout.

Bunyan – Thank you for giving me the keys to The Foundry this morning. You are a better man then me to MQ a bunch of chatter box PAX on a Friday morning. Keep up the good work.

And for the rest of you dog loving Chatty Cathy's, I hope this morning was a great start to your day and that you got everything you wanted out of the workout.

F3 workouts are always "you against you". And when confronted with a WIB it's never more evident. Just remember, even though the Q may set the standard for the type of exercises, the number of reps and sometimes the pace of the workout, you are the final decision maker as to how hard you push yourself. It may sound silly but form matters if you want to get the most out of your workout and how hard you push yourself is "your standard" not the PAX.. It's easy to be like the other guy, the challenge is to push yourself to accelerate even when you don't feel like it.

Great job this morning, we completed five (5) rounds of the Half Baked workout.

Happy New Year. Be sure to pave "your" road with purpose.
