Are We Faster?

I preblasted the plan for today but not sure how many of us followed it. I know I didn't, pretty sure The Count didn't, and have no idea if Primo did. But, I am positive Tantrum did and I think Swing State did.

The plan was to warm up with the usual run from BRP to the Hough track. Once at the track the plan was to run a mile as fast as you could then we do intervals. The air was thick, I know Primo and myself used that excuse. My hip and quad are still sore so I used that excuse as well. The Count, surprise, surprise, was seen in the weeds outside the track.

So what happened? We ran. Some times we went fast, other times we recovered. We did a little more than 4 miles and enjoyed being out there.

Running Man Moleskin:

  • I came in hot just as the others were contemplating what to do
  • None of us admit it but everyone time I see guys at running workouts I know they enjoy themselves
  • I need someone to Q next week as I have an early flight Wed. morning.
  • I like being the MQ of Halflife even if it means constantly trying to find someone to Q and it doesn't allow me to post at any other workouts on Wed. mornings. I am seeing the benefits of a weekly speed workout.
  • I will always be grateful to Mailman for EH'ing me back in 2013.
