With so many workouts going OTB (off the books) due to COVID-19 (and wanting to maintain "Social Distancing" and keep the PAX below 10), an audible was called and a workout sprang up at DPK (Discovery Place Kids) parking garage. This is a great edifice for testing endurance, running up and down the garage and it is also a great way to get out of the rain.
Yep, it rained this morning and since ALL scheduled workouts have been cancelled, I asked myself, "Where can I workout, bring a few PAX together safely, and keep out of the rain?" The obvious choice in Huntersville is DPK and my Huckleberry of choice is Crocs, he is terrific at pulling together a few guys. Thanks for coming out Camelback and Honeysuckle Blue.
I know many F3 purests may frown on this type of workout and probably believe a parking garage is not a "true" workout because it's not completely "in the elements" but if you were there for the Cinderblock beatdown, I believe most of you would overlook this technicality.

What a great surprise to have three (3) PAX (Crocs, Camelback and Honeysuckle Blue) show at DPK. I had planned to step through a OYO Block workout that I had previously created. While I was warming up on the 2nd floor of the garage, I heard a car alarm honk and saw a few men jog toward the stairwell – I knew that this workout was no longer OYO.
I scampered down to the basement to meet up with the men. Game on.
Crocs, terrific job. Thanks for taking me up on my offer to meet at DPK. Workouts are always more fun with others.
Camelback, it's great to see you out. You are definitely accelerating. Keep it up.
Honeysuckle Blue. I have no idea how you got your nickname but you do you. 6 workouts in 8 days is awesome. If you ever need someone to workout with just ask, I'll be there.
Thank you again gentlemen. Keep safe. Take care on one another. Make a difference.
