Reflection:

Mark 4:35-41  “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” “

When Jesus calmed the storm while in the boat with the disciples, he said these words.  What storms in life do we have to endure?  When it seems hopeless or alone we only need to turn to Christ and take solace  in the fact he is right there with us.

We are in a storm right now with COVID 19.  It is normal to feel overwhelmed, stressed or uncertain.  Use this as a prompt to recenter our lives, look for focus and trust in Him.

All this family time got me thinking to the olden days…Log Cabin/Teppe/Cave living where all you did was hang out with family.  Maybe this is a good reminder to return to our roots.

Moleskin:

-Anvil continues to push with his rebuilt knee, kicking it in.  Good idea to check out familysearch.org via the LDS Church that allows all to look at their family history.  May be a cool family project this week.

-Shredder looked fresh despite the new family addition!

-Strudel put a smile on as always and reminded us at the end the economic stimulus package should be considered in the context of how we can do our part to support the community and small businesses with what we receive.  Think outward.

-Retread always ready to work!  Good reminder as we parted about reflecting on what is essential vs non essential.  Our government has determined that distinction, what is the difference in our personal lives now.  Has this time changed that focus?

-Stay healthy and safe, stepping up social distancing this week to keep this thing in check.
