Vikings Get Taste of Wafflehouse – Did They Like It?

Jersey Boy and Tuffy emerged in the gloom hoping to learn more about Mayhem's daunting V-neck routine, but due to some shoulder issues, Mayhem was advised not to do boot camps for a while.  So, they got me instead.  Here's what we did:

Warm-o-rama:

Mosey around a section of the church parking lot; Triangle up for

SSH, IST, Toy Soldier, Cotton Picker, Windmill, Mountain Climber

Mosey to rock pile, grab a rock

Curls x10 IC, return rocks

Mosey to basketball courts

The Thang:

There are benches on opposite ends of the courts.  Starting with the near set of benches, we did exercises and ran between benches:

20 step-ups, run

20 dips, run

20 incline mericans, run

20 LBCs

Repeato

Then we took a break with the following in cadence:

Squats x10

Carolina Dry Docks x10

Low W x10

Repeat 2 rounds, followed by Squats, CDD, Pretzel Crunch, Calf raises (all x10 IC)

Repeat 2 rounds, followed by Squats, CDD, Freddie Mercury, Calf raises (all x10 IC)

Mosey to rock pile for Curls x10 IC

Mosey back to church lot

Mary:

Had time for low dolly and dying cockroach (both x10 IC)

Recover, Recover.

– thanks Jersey for taking us out

– announcements – OST 8k on 9/26, and JB has Q at Fission on Thursday

– Jersey Boy remarked it was a total body workout except for calves, so we added in some calf raises

– Tuffy never complains – just keeps working and getting stronger

– Good brief discussion after about diversity
