Thickness at Fallout (Shark Week – Day 2 of 5)

Shark Week (5 years / 5 Q’s), Day 2: Fallout is hardly a regular stop for me, I’m MQ at Titan (Monday’s) and I usually maintain a religious adherence to day-on / day-off, which puts Tuesday in the “pass” bucket.  But every once in a while, I get frisky on a Tuesday and this is where I go.  Still, the AO feels like home because of The Estate, and all the familiar faces.  Speaking of things Fallout felt like today… it was thick like a SWAMP out there this morning.  Seemed like a perfect time to get some cardio and block work today, so here’s what I came up with:

WARM-O-RAMA:

Mosey lap around the parking lot.  Mix in side shuffle, high knees, butt kickers, quadraphilia, carioca, and on to the track.  SSH x 20 IC, arm circle – baby / big baby / chinook, Windmill x 15 IC.

THE SHOW:

  • Indian run one lap.
  • Blocks (20 x IC each): bent-over row, block squat, full curl, block lunge
  • Indian run one lap.
  • Hill Ladder: 10 x ‘merican at bottom, 2 x squat at top, 8 at bottom, 4 at top, and so on.
  • Indian run one lap.
  • Repeat block set.
  • Indian run one lap.
  • Repeat hill ladder set.
  • Indian run one lap.
  • Repeat block set.

MARY:

Low flutter, plank clock countdown.

MOLESKINE:

Thank you gentlemen for fighting to be stronger and better men, physically and personally, for five years now.  Great to see some familiar faces, hope to see you out again later this week as Shark Week continues!
