Change of Plan


Thirteen men mosey into the gloom for a c-block beat down.

 

Warm-up

15 x SSH (IC)

15 x Grandma Mater (IC)

15 x Toy Soldiers (IC)

15 x Windmills (IC)

Leg stretches 

Arm circles

 

Run a lap around the parking lot and flagpole on the way to the block pile. 

 

The grass was particularly tall and wet and the hill behind the gym was poorly lit – surely a recipe for injury, and most certainly a lot of sog. So, change of plan. We mosied over to the front of the gym.

 

Block Session

Set 1: Start with your block at the bottom of the parking lot, then;

20x Arm Curls OYO, then leave block and bear crawl to the top of the parking lot

20x Merkins OYO, then mosey back down to the hill and return to your block

Repeat for a total of 3 reps.

 

Set 2: Start with your block at the bottom of the parking lot, then;

10x Trifectas OYO, then leave block and sprint to the top of the parking lot

20x LBCs OYO, then mosey back down to the hill and return to your block

Repeat for a total of 3 reps.

 

Put blocks away and mosey back to LP.

Reflection – 1 Peter 2:21-24

He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

 

Jesus set the example for us by giving up his right at being right (He took no offense and allowed others to treat him as though he were wrong), even though he was perfect. We should also live our lives in the same way, giving up our right at being right, particularly in light of us not being perfect.
