The time was 0230 and YHC couldn't sleep. So I was up, for now. 0300 rolls around and I decide to give the fartsack another chance for a couple more hours of sleep. 0320 and Garth Brooks Thunder Rolls is playing in my head. Lighting is, well, lit. The storm rolls on until I finally fall asleep right before 0500, and the alarm goes off. Time to get up and Q this Murph. Rolling up to the AO at 0526 and Thrift Shop is there stretching like us old men need to do. "Are we the only 2 stupid enough to be out here" or something like that is what he says. 0529 and Mater rolls up, still sore from "King of the Mountain" at Dad's camp. 0531 and we roll out for the first mile. 1/4 mile in an Abrams comes in on 2 wheels dodging the newly installed speed bumps (ramps). After the first mile we meet at the pull-up bars for 20 rounds of :
5 pull-ups (100 total)
10 'Mericans (200 total)
15 Air Squats (300 total)
Around 1/3 of the way into it and ThriftShop finds a good deal on an ant farm. To his dismay the ant farm is actually fireants and they are all over his hands and arms. The fireants "lit" him up. Something about placing your hand on an angry fireant mound only makes them more angry.
All aorund us the sky is being "lit" up by heat and cloud-to-cloud lightning. Didn't see any ground strikes between 0530 and 0615 and zero rain… just wet grass.

This reflection talks about releationships that you have, who you surround your self with and how to improve. One take away we can all go do, except for maybe Sparrow, if you are 30, talk to someone that's 40 and ask them how they think differently than when they were 30… and so on.
