More of an informal and impromptu Ruck in the gloom this morning. First 15 mins was a warmup checking in on life and how guys are doing.
Conversation was around the current social movements and how they interact with the Gospel. Questions were
1. With the current social movements if there is a common theme or thread that links these movements together?
2. Does the Gospel in the Bible align with the current movements?
We talked through personal examples of our struggles and current life circumstances in relationship to the current social movements. We all recognize that the current climate is striking on important current issues that have not resolved over time like racism and inequalities that are big concerns for us.
We came to the conclusion that these are big issues that need prayer, grace, humility and the ability to listen more than talk.
