Redemption Tour Begins Now.

After pulling an audible last week, to tackle "the Murph", several Pax made it clear that they had a sore mangina.  So, I gave the pax what they wanted a good, ol' fashioned, pimp slap.  As promised, we lifted heavy things, put them down and ran a bit.  I know this violates the policy several pax have about running.

Discraft, Tooltime, Pinkslip and Motorboat all ran this morning.  I think there was one other, I'm sorry, I can't remember who.  Brushless did the heavy backpack thing.

Warmorama.

This warmorama was brought to you by Deepend.  We need to get the New Balance- white, velcro dad shoes ready to run.  Maybe we can all show up in white t-shirts too, tucked into our jorts, with our Lance Armstrong Oakley sunglasses.  We can only hope.

The Thang.

Yep, it was the Billy Madison.

Each exercise was completed OYO, 12 reps.

1st exercise, run lap around the entire island.

1st and 2nd exercise, run lap.

Rinse and repeat through the series.

The playlist, much like every "great hits" album featuring rearrangments of the same song, as follows…

  • Merkins
  • Curls
  • Squats
  • Skullcrushers
  • Bent over rows
  • Dry docks
  • Military press
  • lunges
  • Shambalas
  • Flutter press
  • Upright rows
  • frog jumps (no time)
  • burpees (no time)

Mileage total was 2 miles, exactly…. when does this become Wheelz light?

Moleskin

It was fun. Felt a bit tropical this morning for a November.  It's bad when you can smell yourself in an outdoor workout in November.

Cupcake had the line of the day referring to Brushless being the first to finish the series… "He counts reps like PA counts votes."

Some of the beach weekend pax still looked and smelled drunk.  I'm impressed that they were still drying out after two days.

Thanks to Banana Peel for the Q (11/17) and Pyle (12/1).  There are 5 Tuesdays left through the rest of the year, if anyone else wants to Q.  I'm happy to continue to issue the beatings, until morale improves, of course.

Thanks for being a part of my day, Pax.  It was a pleasure to run around in the gloom and act like a moron with you.
