Hero WOD #1 Zachary Tellier, Charlotte, NC U.S. Army Sgt Troop C, 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Ft Bragg Rescued 2 fellow soldiers from a burning vehicle. 6 months later died from wounds while on patrol on 9/29/2007 Firebase Wilderness, Afghanistan. The Zachary Tellier workout goes like this:
10 Burpees
10 burpees, 25 Merkins
10 Burpees, 25 Merkins, 50 lunges
10 Burpees, 25 Merkins, 50 lunges, 100 situps (halfway through the 100 sit-ups this was modified to LBCs)

Veterans day started after WWI, the war to end all wars to honor those military who protected our freedoms. Soon after we realized this simply wasn’t the war to end all wars. 100 years later and we find ourselves still fighting to maintain these freedoms. Today we honor you who took part in protecting our freedoms.

- While the covered entrance may provide a temporary break from the rain, it also blocks airflow…and also we left the cover anyway to get nice a wet in the final 15 minutes.
- Thank you to all Veterans for the sacrifice for our country. Many delayed college and careers and sometimes family so that we can keep our freedom.
