Time is not always of the essence but in this case it was.
9 Lives is about to embark on a journey across Florida, the Sea to Sea Adventure Race, and he wanted to get some miles in before he leaves for the BIG Race. And since his work schedule kept him from meeting with the rest of the PAX, the two of us decided to schedule a run of our own, 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled 6:00 a.m. start.
6+ miles were run at 9:20 pace.
