Three pax joined YHC for five miles this morning, as is tradition on the first Monday of every month. Luckily the rain held off, hardly any mist and we kept dry. Turnpike seemed skeptical of the 65-degree forecast and came in full sweatshirt. I would call it a mistake, but TP was clearly putting all his brainpower into navigating this morning. He asked to take point and lead the way, determined to finally get the route right. TP set a strong pace and called all the turns, with only one small mistake (which wouldn't have been very consequential). I even tried to walk him through the navigating a bit… now we're heading west… now we're parallel to McIlwaine… that turn is the shortcut, this one is the full fiver, etc.
Ladies and gentlemen… I think he's evolved. We'll see next week, as Turnpike has claimed the next Q, and wants to run the 4-mile version with pain stations. You're on blast nimble navigators of F3… next week should be an adventure!
