Throwin’ Bells to Irish Pub Rock (in the rain)

Event Date

Mar 16, 2021

The Stretch pax really don't like it wet… so with a little nudging they all (except the MQ Omaha) decided to post at Blender today.  The PB promised cover, strength training and Irish Pub Rock.  It delivered to the 9 pax would fought off the rain and the farsack.  Here's what we did:

Disclaimer and warm-o-rama under the entrance to GCC.  Ample space available for this group and just enough for the FJ as well. *easy-button*

The music was then turned on and here we go.  The workout would be a series of KB strength exercises, 3 sets of each (12x, 10x, 8x (sorta)). After the first two sets it was announced:  "Pax choice: Run to the bottom of the hill and back or 10 burpees."  Then 2 more exercises, same sets of reps (sorta), same pax choice, and so on.

We began with the shoulders, worked through the front and back of the guns, hit back, chest and legs (legs sorta but it happened).

An audible was thrown in not once, not twice but thrice where we set out bells down and squat thrusted to the music and/or danced.  This was perhaps the best, most awkward, most difficult portions of todays workout.  Your welcome.

The Mighty Irish Moleskine:

9 pax in total.  That is a GOOD number.

Blender is a great AO with a cool-ass MQ in Flo.  Highly recommend.

*cool*

T-Claps to Turncoat who ran with YHC for each pax choice.  No burpess for the either of us.  Die Hard joined us for half of the joggy-jogs too.  Don't know if the rest of the pax did the burpees while we were away.  It was dark and raining hard.  It is doubtful though.  Highly doubtful.  And the FJ's wipers were assaulted while we were away.

Thanks to the loyal pax of Stretch for coming out to support.

The Force is out
