In all the annals of F3 history there has never been a more legendary QvQ as what occurred at the Viking between two juggernauts of Q awesomeness today. Or is it anal? I always get those two mixed up, but anal sound like it more accurately represents these historic feats of strength, determination, and leadership.
It was a highly contested battle between two equally matched Q Colossi with Stapler eking out the victory over Turnpike. Turnpike strategically did just enough to be presentable, but held back enough to ensure he can bow out gracefully. Strangely, there were 4 Stapler ballots with eerily similar handwriting looking very similar to Turnpikes writing. That said, a win is a win. The CHAMP is here!

Like a real frontier man, I think I saw Frontier come of the darkness just before the start.
Warm up
- We divided the warm up with much shoulder work included overhead claps, front claps, Moroccan Nightclub, ‘Mericans and a few other goodies. Favorite exercise was the Windmill and there was much talk about Turnpike’s pink gloves and posterior
I asked for mumble chatter and like a moth to a flame mumble chatter legends such as KingFish, Etch-A-Sketch, Titan and 9 Lives showed up and were more than up for the task.
Stapler kicked it off with the following
- Head to the rock pile – Sorry Hippie, a headlamp would have come in handy
2 sets of 10x or something like that. It was hard to tell with Bagboy and others helping confuse the Q
- Squat
- Curl
- Shoulder Press
- Skull Crusher
- 8 Count Burner
- Bear Crawl to top of hill
- 5 Burpees
- Crawl bear back down
Very impressed with Titan and his crawl bear as Sky his puppy looked at him like “what the heck is wrong with you?”
I tried to turn the reigns over to Turnpike, but ever the watchful MQ Wafflehouse informed me that I still had a couple of minutes. Time for a 20 count of chest press and low flutter before turning it over to Turnpike.
Turnpike took over – Following is my best recollection of the events.

- Crab Walk with rockslide/roll
- Partner up for wheelbarrow walk rock work and run – I was lucky enough to partner with Marker who crushed it making my work easier.
- Rocks back and quadrifilia back to home base – 9 Lives correctly pointed out that there was no disclaimer as we ran backwards into potential Camp Gladiator cars entering the park. Excellent point.
- Close out with neon light FIA Wiggle Workout and J Lo to get the Amen’s vote.
Excellent group. It was great to see Tagless and Eeyore, haven’t seen you both in some time. I guess I need to get out more to other AOs. All and all it was a blast. Thank you to Cherry Bomb for initiating QvQ and Waffle House for allowing me to steer the Viking ship with Turnpike into the oncoming rocks.
