YHC noticed somber tones from the Titan MQ and asked if he needed a backstop to help out; Jaws graciously accepted and hoped for a Windmill repeato. Other ideas were swirling…

arrival – YHC was early / on time and Jaws appeared. We saw Snake Ryes coming in on 2 smooth wheels and waited for others while doing the following (all in cadence x 10):

SSH

Windmills (only 10?)

IST

Merkins

Mountain Climbers

With only 3, my ideas for the Thang crystallized and we headed to the back lot with a standard deck of cards and a choice for music:

1. standard jock jams

2. Huntersville Half soundtrack from mile 7

3. Total random from my Amazon Music library

Snake Eyes chose the randomizer. He's probably sorry he did so.

cards pulled with exercise by suit, With a twist. Face cards and Aces were suicides, cards 2-5 were jog to first curb, cards 6-10 were jog to second curb.

if pax guessed the musician, they could change the exercise but the exercise was doubled if they got it wrong. No one made official guesses.

after a visit from the portipotty pumper, we promptly pursued a path for the launch point.

Abbreviated Mary was painful and I don't care to remember it.

COT

Moleskine:

1. Jaws kept almost guessing the artist but the songs were severely deep cuts (old REM, newer Pearl Jam). Scrappy would have scratched his head at the selections.

2. Snake Eyes made no such attempts. He is wise.

3. The truck holding the portalet cleaner almost ran over the phone/paindeck and then unleashed foul odors that drove us off our spot. Tantrum would have been proud if he would have showed up.

4. playlist for the morning:

What Comes Around (beastie Boys): from Paul's Boutique. A softball because it sounds like just the Beastie Boys.

Extraordinary Girl / Letterbomb (Green Day): honestly have never heard this song, I saved the entire American Idiot album to my library.

Auctioneer (Another Engine) (REM): older REM. Jaws said everyone in Georgia knows everything there is to know about REM.

The Fixer (Pearl Jam): live version of newer PJ threw the Pax off.

Oh, What a World (Kacey Musgraves): Not the Cranberries as suggested. The news of the Cranberries singers untimely passing was surprise news to at least one of us.

Vicar in a Tutu (The Smiths): even a hint that last nights Simpsons episode was a parody of devoted Smiths fans was not helpful.

Trust? (Limp Bizkit): spurred an unfortunate story of a Fred Durst sighting and poor decisions at bachelor parties.

Seek and Destroy (Apocolyptica): Metallica cover by 4 cellos. No one said my playlist was missing anything.

Your Savior (Temple of the Dog): another palm smack from Jaws.

5. Since only 3 pax were there to enjoy, this one could be brought back for a later attempt.

respectfully submitted 19 April 2021,

Jorel
