That WIB that rhymes with Bark-neigh-dough


15 PAX met for a high dew point boot camp at Grand Oak. Morale was shattered when the group was told they would be engaging in the infamous Sharknado workout. This is the first time I have been cursed at as the Q, and the first time I have done a surprise WIB like this, so I believe there is some kind of correlation. 

Anyhow, IronPax will be here soon(ish) and this workout is always a grind for me, so I figured why not do it today. I did it back in April at the Foundry retirement, and wanted to see if I would fare better after getting back into the F3 routine.

Please note (Roadie) the different font, as this is a straight copy/paste job from a previous Sharknado #bb. The goal is 5 rounds of the following:

  • 15 burpees
  • Run around parking
  • 20 diamond merkins
  • Run around parking island
  • 20 WWII sit-ups
  • Run around parking island
  • 20 merkins
  • Run around parking island
  • 20 scorpion dry-docks
  • Run around parking island

Kosar easily won the FKT (is that a thing on Wednesdays?) getting in some of a SIXTH round of exercises! Nice job, sir! Everyone worked the entire 45 minutes, kept that heart rate up, got some strength training in, and sweat a lot. I did not perform all that much better in terms of rounds complete (vs April), but I did feel stronger throughout and I think my form was better throughout, as well.

Thank you all for sticking with me this morning. I promised Tuffy I would not do this at my next Q at Arnie's Army in June, but I will not say if I had my fingers crossed behind my back. jk
