Six men ventured into a cooler morning for their 5K Thursday beatdown known as Java.
Run to the Birkdale Clubhouse for warmarama. 20 SSH, 15 Imperial Storm Troopers, 15 Cotton Pickers, 12 windmills (yes 12). Crablegs was already not cooperating doing his own versions of the warm up exercises…..
Run to Birkdale swimming poole (after I called it the Oakhurst pool, that would have been much farther).
20 Merkins, 20 LBCs
Run past the bridge and past Cockerham to the 13th tee box (I think). Einstein and Omega a little too eager and wanted to sprint all the way up the hill.
20 Wide merkins, 20 Rosalitas
Run back to the Birkdale swimming pool to the cart path.
20 hand release merkins, 20 heels to heaven
Run down the scenic cart path to the Birkdale Club house.
20 Manmaker merkins, 20 low flutters
Run back to home base at Starbucks in Birkdale.
20 Shoulder touch merkins (can't go without those). And yes, THE BURPEE.

Diehard decided to jump ship and leave his AO to come to Java when he saw Waffle House was Qing at his AO. He did want to know why everyone was in such a hurry running this morning…..
Crablegs just not cooperating with exercises today! I have never even seen that version of the SSH before….

Einstein, when everyone else is gasping for air after running he is just hanging out with a 108 heart rate…..
And I think Omega is just racing everyone to finish first. It's not a race!!
