9 men felt the pull and accepted the challenge of #TheMurph this morning at ELHS Mustang. FNG-1 above is Lewis(Luis?). He was EH'ed by Iron Horse who didn't post. That has a name but I can't remember what it is, when the EHer doesn't show. Anyway Lewis likes to do run gun competitions, joined F3 to improve his run gun performance.
We did our thing – ran 1 mile, did 20 rounds of 5-10-15 pull-ups–push-ups–air squats, then ran another mile
Reflection
Can we change Gods mind? This is a deep question. The answer is more complicated than I can comprehend, at least when I start digging. Essentially Gods mind is made up already. God gonna God. However in our prayer our minds begin to see things God’s way. Gods will may be for us to pray about a situation that is bigger than us. Well, no “may be” He definitely gives us more than we can handle so that we can rely on Him rather than this world. When things seem so negative, so far gone and almost seemingly useless for us to pray, we especially need to be praying. Exodus 32:13, Moses boldly asks God to not destroy Israel. Was it Gods will to destroy Israel after delivering them from Egypt and Moses, by prayer changed that, or was it Gods will for Moses to go to Him in prayer about this and Gods will to save Israel the whole time? Then Jesus in the Garden prayed and asked God to save his life. What if God had changed his mind there and left Earthly Jesus here in physical form? Instead Jesus fully understood Gods plan with his prayer. His plan is the right plan every time.
