From Genesis 22 where Abraham was intending to sacrifice his only son Isaac that he was promised and waited a very long time to hold… This was a test from God to Abraham, but God knew already that he was going to be willing to go through with it so the test wasn't for Abraham to prove his devotion to God, but rather for Abraham to learn something. God was really teaching Abraham just how strong his faith is. And that's not all. He also taught Abraham that God will always provide and further the phophetic sacrificing of Gods one and only son.
