80’s fail

The Q had a question as we took a mosey to warm up, 70s or 80s rock,  The pax chose 80s but in the end it wouldnt have mattered.

 

We warmed up with the crowd pleasers, slow windmill, side straddle, arm circles, IST, mountain climbers, merkins.

 

We ran to the blocks and each grabbed 2.  Tiramisu got the short end of the stick by getting one regular and one XL block (all that was left).  We started the 80's rock music and got to work.

10 Curls in cadence (one block)

10 Squats in cadene (one block)

farmers carry both blocks to the 3rd bbal goal, 10 burpees

farmers carry to the curb, drop blocks, head down the hill and do 10 pullups

back up the hill, farmers carry back to 3rd bball goal, 10 WWII

farmers carry back to start and plank.

We got through 3 rounds of this and then did a roun with no farmers carry just mosey.  So we made it half way to the 80's of each excercise that I had hoped.  This was a gross miscalculation by the Q as we were working hard.  

We then took our blocks and put them next to sturdy poles (what else do you do with Guns and Roses blairing at 6 am?).  We did 10 calf raises each leg in cadence then did some merkins, chest press, and crunchy frog in cadence.  Repeated all those and then I think it was dismisal time.  

Good work gents.  The weather was awesome and we still sweat a lot.  Thanks for the push, we may do the other half of the 80's workout soon.

COT was a good reminder to keep lifting up your brothers and get out some of the ones you havent seen in a while.
