BEREANTOBERFEST is ROCKTOBERFEST

Despite the ominous warning shown above, 5 hard-chargers sallied out for Berean.  But this turned out to be a false alarm, as the dreaded Rodeo was nowhere to be found.  With no Rodeo, the pax celebrated by donning their lederhosen for the tradition known as Bereantoberfest.  We proceeded to the budenstrassa for the avenue of pain, which included a random assortment of excerices, done at random intervals to random counts.  We finally arrived at the promised ROCKtoberfest tent where we sampled a wide varietiy of offerings ranging from light lagers to heavy stouts.  Happily buzzing, the merry band of pax reversed course and proceeded through the rain back to the launch with more sampling along the way.  There were humorous remarks, kvetching, whining, and even a neighborhood watch crime alert from the deputies in Pure Barre.  2+ miles, plenty of work and mobility along the way.  There was much rejoicing.
