On Boston Marathon Monday…
5 men took to the standard which started at 2nd F pace but then turned into a NASCAR event which ended with TurnCoat taking the checkered flag with what Hoodie would call an 8:30 pace.
The men were joined by a few more for 45 minutes of doing hard things.
The Thang:
Mosey and 20 SSHs for a warmup then we got after it.
Station 1: Block work – Curls x30, shoulder press x30, chest press x30 mosey to station 2
Station 2: Step ups x25 each leg
Station 3: Monkey Bars – 25 pullups, 25 burpees, 25 WWII
Repeto x3 (well almost we finished by 6:15 with a little modification)
Accomplishments:
100 Curls, 100 shoulder presses, 100 chest presses, 100 Burpees, 100 WWII, 75 Pull Ups, 75 Step Ups, 20 SSHs all in 45 minutes. That is 670 reps in 45 mins!
Moleskin:
- Good luck to the Boston Crew getting after it today, we did hard for 45 mins, they will do it for 3 hours!
- Strong work by TurnCoat owning the standard this am
- Not a lot of mublechatter this am, the pax seem to enjoy the beatdown
- Picnic tables benches are confirmed at 19" today to the shock and dismay of the pax, they seem taller and now Lego/Chad1000X seems a lot harder then once thought.
- Its ok to do different rep counts for different exercises but can be confusing for some
- Kudos to Kosar for crushing it and being patient to wait for the rest of us to complete a round before moving on.
- Tuffy pointed out it was the first Auto Q without Merkins, in 9 years I have never Q'ed a workout without Merkins so I am taking this as a major acccomplishment.
- Viking is the place to be tomorrow 5:30am
- Thanks to Tuffy for the opportunity to Q at such a fine AO, always greatful to be among the pax!
