WHAT: Anyone interested in a kayak/canoe fishing tourney?!? We are sure to catch a few (might only be sunshine rays, but we will catch something)! The plan is to head up to Sherrill’s Ford to North/West Lake Norman.
WHEN: 2pm on Sunday Oct 2nd until 8pm (fisherman must be back by 6:30pm to show their measurement pictures

This is about 35 mins from Exit 23 or 25 ( I recommend going up Highway 16 if you can to avoid 77)

ADDITIONAL INFO: We will do catch and release with a picture taken of any kind of fish caught with a measuring device (ruler, tape, fish board, etc). I am thinking we everyman for themselves, but if there are 2 in a Canoe they will just have to fight over the good fishing spots. I have 2 canoes that will hold 2 people each. Those 3 spots will be 1st come 1st serve if you don’t have your own. I also have a few extra rods if you don’t have anything at all and want to be a part of this.. Comment in the area below if you have room for another fisherman in your boat and I will start a list of who is riding with someone and or going solo. If you want to ride with some specific let me know.
COST: $10 bucks a fisherman to cover Hot Dogs, Chips, Beers (for afterwards) and a little prize money to the winner, and maybe runner up.
