Hello PAX. I’m looking forward to Qing at The Estate again under normal circumstances. Given current circumstances, YHC would still like to fulfill a Q promise for Saturday 28-Mar; albeit virtually.
This idea of a "virtual" workout was stolen from Stapler and others, of course.
I’ve crafted what is clearly an intricate and creative workout. Lol, not really. It’s repetitive. But it’s meant to involve PAX families where possible and get everyone moving.
Prerequisites:
- Find a rock, or a dumbbell, or a kettle bell; of a non-traveling size.
- Find a loop in your neighborhood. It can be anywhere from 0.10 miles to 0.40 miles, depending on your love of running. It’s up to you.
- Include as many family members as desired and as they are interested.
WARM-O-RAMA:
- Run a lap around the loop. Include some: High Knees, exaggerated long striders, and butt kickers.
- SSH x 30 OYO
- Elbow plank x 1 minute
The Virtual Thing:
- Overhead press x 20 OYO
- Full curls x 20 OYO
- Jump over your weight x 10 each side, for a total of 20 OYO
- Run a lap
- Repeat-o 9 more times for a total of 10 rounds
Mary:
- Quad stretch, hamstring stretch, calf stretch, butterfly stretch; all for ~20-30 seconds each
- LBCs x 50 OYO single count
- Elbow plank x 2 minutes
Recover, recover. Reply via comment on this Preblast to receive credit and to be included in the backblast to follow.
Stay safe my dudes.
