The time is near, less than 2 months way, for what some call the hardest CSAUP in South Carolina. Others call it stupid. Pointless. Painful. We would agree w/ all of those things. The Nessie is back and its bigger and badder than ever.
October 23rd – starting and ending at Field Day Park, this bad boy will be between 12 and 14 miles, w/ add-on miles optional. 4 stops along the way. There might be water. There might be heavy things. There will definitely be hills.
More details to come, but stop what you’re doing now and mark your calendar. I want to see all the local regions present. This needs to be a cross regional event, with plenty of 1st and 2nd F. Grab a buddy to hold you accountable and HC today.
We don’t care how you complete, so pick one:
- Solo Runner
- 2 man relay (we don’t care how you get there – car swap, bike, Uber, just challenge yourself!)
- Rucking – will start earlier then runners
- Life Preservers / walkers – will have the option to start earlier and do the whole thing, or modify and do partial segments
The after party plan is to hang out for some 2nd F food and drinks at Copper Premium Pub. We are working on a route cleanup weekend either the 9th and the 16th to make sure the route we run will be safe.
