Let me set the scene for you.
Its 0445 and my alarm goes off. "Eh, I got time" I thought and hit that deadly 8 minute snooze…. or so I thought. Turns out I turned off my alarm and quickly fell back asleep.
37 minutes of sweet dreams came to an abrupt end at 0522 when for who knows why I jumped out of bed in terror wondering what time it was. A quick look at my watch and seeing the time gave me hope since I live right behind Birkdale and thankfully I set my clothes out the night before (although I thought it would be a little warmer this morning when I did that)
I quickly get dressed, grab my keys, and hit the road navigating through the labyrinth behind Birkdale and was able to park in decent time.
As I ran through the group waiting to get Odyssey started screaming "I'm not here for you" I arrived at Birkdale Starbucks just one minute late… not bad.
Hotbox, Scrappy, and Toby were patiently waiting and thankfully didn't start without me. Rodeo came in just after I did and off we went.
Warm a rama
- Mosey to parking lot to the right of the movie theater
- SSH, IST, TS, Carrot Pullers, Deep Pockets
- Scrappy provided the tunes and away we go
The Thang
Long story short, do an exercise, run a lap. Repeato x 4 with each lap getting longer going around the next island
- Round 1: 10 Burpees, Lap, 10 Burpees, Lap, 10 Burpees, Lap, 10 Burpees, Lap
- Round 2: 5, 10, 15, 20 Squats with a lap in between
- Round 3: 5, 10, 15, 20 Lunges each leg with a lap in between
- Round 4: 5, 10, 15, 20 Single Leg Calf Raises each leg with a lap in between
Mosey back to launch
- 20 Jackknife LBC's IC
- 10 Jane Fondas IC each side
- 20 jackknife LBC's IC

- Rodeo worked smarter not harder on the lunges by lunge walking and getting the laps started early
- Hotbox was back again after my Q on Monday, hopefully today lived up to Monday!
- Was great to see Toby again. Last time we saw each other was when I Q'd the Sharknado!
