6 men came together to share and listen. Grief and struggle were present. But progress, successes, and laughter were also there! This morning was a really good example of men coming together not as fixers but as empathizers. It's natural and well intentioned to want to help, and sometimes the best help is to listen and empathize.
A particular book was referenced and it was requested that it be included in this BB. Feeling Good by Dr. David Burns. It's a good intro to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. If you only read Chapters 3 and 4 you'll come away with something.
BUT REMEMBER, different things "click" with different people at different times. So on life's journey, keep seeking and keep striving.
