Then what’s this exercise called?

Not sure if anybody ran a standard. I came in last minute and without a watch, so I was out of sorts for the first few minutes.

Warm Up

  • SSH
  • IST
  • Toy Soldier
  • Windmill
  • Long Snapper

The Thang

Everybody grabbed a block and we circled up for a descending ladder.  Starting from 10 and working down to 1, we did:

  • BlockSomethingSomething – I forgot the name, but it was that thing where you do a squat, then a curl, then an overhead press, then a skull crusher.
  • Lawnmower, each arm
  • Calf Raises
  • Glute Bridge
  • Burpees
  • In between sequences we took a lap around the parking lot

Mosey to the pullup bars

  • 10 squats
  • 5 pullups
  • 10 squats
  • 5 `merkins
  • Repeato

Mary

  • Lego kicked off Mary with a couple exercises while I grabbed my phone. It looked like low flutters and maybe a Homer to Marge. Not sure but I heard “hold it…hold it….”
  • Freddy Mercury
  • Little Baby Crunch
  • Pillow Talk
  • Pickle Pounder

Age Stats for Nerds

  • Mean: 46.1 (average of the recorded ages)
  • Median: 46.5 (age in the middle of those recorded)
  • Mode: 46 (age that occurred the most)
  • Max: 55 (highest age)
  • Min: 30 (lowest age)
  • Count: 14 (count of pax)
  • Standard Deviation: 7.29029 (square root of the average “distance” each age had from the mean)
  • Kurtosis: 0.18083 (indicates how “tailed” the data, i.e., are there outliers or extreme values in the tails.)
  • Skewness: -0.78867 (describes the asymmetry of the data with respect to the mean, i.e., are we leaning left or right in a normal distribution. for about 7/8 of my Q’s, the skew leans negative, which is not surprising given the likelihood of more guys in their upper 40s/low 50s coupled with 2-3 pax in their 30s.)

Moleskin

Thanks for the great turnout today! The mumble chatter was minimal, even considering the two or three times I forgot the names of exercises.  Oh that and I referred to The Might Oak in my f3counts tweet.
