4 men were unprepared for a little wet weather at Cobalt this morning. By the end we all agreed the weather (and the workout) were just about perfect.

Warm-up

SSHX17 IC, MerkinsX11 IC, Runners Lunge, MerkinsX12 IC, Cherry PickersX10 IC

Main Event

Run from clubhouse to boat launch parking lot (~1/2 mile).

Launch from top of boat launch parking lot. 10 X called exercises at top. Run to gazebo. 10X called exercises in gazebo. Run back to top of parking lot (taking the long way) for 9 X called exercises………..down to 1X called exercises top and gazebo.

Top exercises: Lunges (10X……1X each leg) and squats

Gazebo exercises: Derkins and Dips

Solid Pax feedback on the set. Direct quote: "That was the perfect workout". Can't make it up fellas. Proud Q moment……only took about 150 Q's to get that feedback.

Wrapped with Ab set in gazebo: 6 inches hold, low flutter X13 IC, hold 6 inches, low flutter X7 IC, leg lifts X20 IC

Run back to clubhouse 

Just shy of 5K mileage all said and done. Grip woke up wanting 3+ miles and he got it.

  • Rep counts on IC exercises were all over the board……see name of workout as coined by Pax.
  • ?Another direct quote as we were leaving: "Great way to end the week fellas." Q response……"Grip – it's only Thursday man. We've got several more workouts to squeeze in this week."

  • Germanator blowing up bathrooms in uptown Charlotte. Watch out for that guy. 
  • G-RIP about to make his F3 workout run on Q. Might be tough if your weeks end on Thursday…..just sayin.
