Toenail Emergency

Event Date

Mar 19, 2022

Had to do a last minute substitution as the original Q had a nail that grew overnight and became ingrown.  That was a fast growing nail.  A lot of discussion throughout the run to the workout and during the workout as to what "ingrown toenail" was code for (too much bourbon, beer…)

In any case, five men made it to the Quarry Hood to start Saturday morning out right.  As it was a last minute Q change, we all chiped in and came up with exercises.

Warmorama:

  • Side Straddle Hop – 20 IC
  • Toy Soldier – 10 IC
  • Cotton Pickers – 10 IC
  • Windmill – 10 IC
  • Merkins – 10 IC

  • 4 Corners at the parking lot:

    • Second Corner – Slow Roll led us on Merkins and we then did High Knees to next corner
    • Third Corner – Schwinn led us on WW2 and we then did Karaoke to the last corner

  • Kudos to Grip, who continued his duties keeping the Riverbend neighborhood clean
  • Prayers for our moms who are battling various ailments and for those who are sick and going through difficult times.  May God shine the light on you and your families.
  • It was an honor to lead the workout today.
