YHC connected with AM-PM the night prior and learned there was more interest in another morning ruck. Determined to end with a convenient and lively coffeeteria, it was decided the Harris Teeter Jetton parking lot would be the perfect launch point.
Got a text from AM-PM at 5:12 AM he was running a few minutes late. After a quick greeting by Gnarley Goat who always arrives a bit early to warm up for PAINinsula, AM-PM came in hot around 5:20 and RUCKinsula began for the two of us.
- 4.05 Garmin verified miles were covered along with some great 2nd.
- A very dark loop was performed through Jetton park accounting for 1.5 of the 4 mile ruck.
- AM-PM suggested performing exercises every mile, starting with overhead ruck carry for 1 minute.
- Mile 1 – merkins
- Mile 2 – LBC's
- Mile 3 – Squats
- Moseys were performed throughout the workout to keep heart rate up.
As always, a great coffeeteria at Starbucks Harris Teeter ended RUCKinsula as YHC and AM-PM both attended to meet a large number of PAX finishing PAINinsula.
