14 PAX stormed the west side of Harris Teeter Antiquity and after a brief disclaimer, honored our Stars and Stripes with a Pledge of Allegiance around the Shovel Flag. Thank you Jersey Boy for bringing the Fission Shovel Flag!
Short Mosey to the back parking lot of HT for Warm-A-Rama where a series of standard exercises were performed including IST's, Windmills, Toy Soldiers, Peter Parkers, Merkins, and our favorite SSH x 102 (yep that's 1 more than the last time YHC Q'd)
Even the best thought out plans can go awry as was the case this morning. YHC had it all mapped out in his head as to what would happen but this morning exemplified everything that's great about the men of F3. We had a hiccup this morning and if you were there, no need to expand on it. Thank you Cousin Eddie, Gnarly Goat, Canuck and others who lended a hand this morning to truly exhibit what it means to "leave no man behind". You guys are true HIMs.
The workout consisted of ensuring the PAX stayed together this morning by performing a series of moseys and painstations which included a good mix of strength and cardio exercises and lots of opportunities to modify as needed.
Skinny backblast today but truly one of the most memorable workouts YHC has had the privilege of leading recently and it had nothing to do with the exercises and EVERYTHING to do with watching 13 other men kick a** and lead in their own way by simply showing up in the gloom. You guys inspire YHC day in and day out and I'm grateful.
FNG-1 (not FNG but Full Metal Jacket – he's not on the website)
FNG-2 (true FNG brought by Canuck, Joshua Stottlemyer)
Lots of great coffeeteria discussion. YHC had profound and insightful side conversation with GG related to 3rd F topics. Thank you GG for provided plenty of nuggets to ponder and reflect on.
Humbly in Christ,
