Lake Logan Triathletes Storm North Meck Park for Viking

YHC pumped to see our Lake Logan F3 triathletes make a celebrity appearance at The Viking.  Two of these weekend triathlete warriors, Goat and Shaken, waved at Outlaw tauntingly as they drove past Harris Teeter Jetton Tuesday morning and traveled 2.7 miles further to grace us with their appearance.  The third triathlete, our beloved pot-smoking Hippie, also blessed us with an appearance at the Viking, an AO he consistently chooses for active recovery from his long bike rides, runs and swims.

As promised, 2+ Strava-verified miles were covered with pain sprinkled in for good measure.  The PAX took the long way around the park, entering through the main gate after a quick warm-a-rama and disclaimer.  A three exercise circuit of WWII's, Squats, and Merkins were performed in a descending ladder approach at the parking lot down by the soccer field.  The ladder started with 10 reps, proceeded by 1 lap around the parking lot, then reps descending by 2.

YHC offered a "Know Your PAX" trivia question to avoid 20 burpees.

  • What year and at which school did our own Gnarly Goat win his first spelling Bee?
    • correct answer YHC was looking for was 1980/Huntersville Elementary
    • a partially correct answer of 1982/Huntersville Elementary was given by the PAX

Mosey to the center of the soccer field and 20 burpees were performed by most as YHC recalls to pay their debt for the incorrect response

Mosey back to original starting point with brief stops for mobility moments.

  • Rumor is Primo, who also competed, was smiling and waving at the finish line in an F3 branded Speedo.
  • Frontier and Titan kicking butt doing an early standard before the 530 AM launch time?  Great work guys
  • Great seeing Aggie (FNG-1 above) show up at Viking!  Keep coming back brother, this is a great group of men!
  • Moses coming in extremely hot, top down and a bit late to Viking which reminded YHC to present him with a brand new mechanical alarm clock during CoT. Something that was going to be a birthday present and was conveniently tucked away for just the right moment.
  • TClaps to Waffle House who has been such a consistent fixture and MQ at the Viking for a long long time! Great seeing you!
  • Always enjoy seeing Estwing, great work brother and so good seeing you show up more and more at Viking!  Strong!
  • Jersey Boy, another permanent fixture at the Viking continues to knock it out of the park with his glove slinging enthusiasm!
  • Fantastic coffeeteria at AT&T Starbucks where Bel Air and Moses appeared to be in deep discussion about negotiating the price of a 2022 Rav-4, stay tuned, details coming.
  • Thanks to Goat for taking us out with special prayers for The Hall Monitor's father-in-law and Lake Forest church!

Always and honor and a privilege to lead in the gloom and humbled by each man who made a decision to get stronger.

Humbly in Christ
