***Due to technical difficulty we are still showing Candy Shop as OTB***
10 Pax and 1 "onlydoodle" posted in a gloriously weathered morning for a Candy Shop favorite 5.5mile loop. 4-5 even got a #standard in beforehand. Some Candy Shop regulars were #dr or just #soft, but we upgraded with a few first timers *hammertime*.

- Good to see Mr Holland get some brief miles in before heading to work. And awesome that a few pax met and ran with him early. Work schedules can be tough, but not too tough for comraderie to overcome!
- Sac led the fast guys to a mid 8's pace and I'm still not sure he broke a sweat. Tclaps to that fast crew: Slingshot, Gambini, Enron, Omar
- YHC proclaimed to Turnpike that my goal was a Candy Shop PR of 9:40. AM-PM then let me know we were at 9 flat. So I beat my PR by about 40 seconds thanks to the great push and fellowship of AM-PM and Turnpike. Which leads me to……
- What I learned today: AM-PM was offering encouragement the whole way. Before we hit a hill he talks me up. During the hill, he encourages. He is persistant. I was sucking wind and for many parts couldn't carry on a conversation. I didn't reply in kind with any encouragement. Mentally I did but audibly, nothing. But AM-PM was not encouraging me so he could get it back. He wasn't keeping an account balance of "attaboys". His mindset is that encouragement is a gift to be given. So be an AM-PM. Freely give what others need. Give it earnestly for their benefit, not for your return. Be like AM-PM and we can all lift up the world. Aye! *fistbump*
