14 of the fastest pax (cobains…missing a pax, comment below and YHC will add you in) in Isotope tackled the monthly running of The Vern at FKT. Here is their story:
Beckett is good for a lot of things…fireworks, Christmas decorations, big decks, the annual running of the Triple Crown…backblasts is not their thing…allegedly. Well depending on the month, running is not their thing, so we were thrilled to get an Anchovy Q especially following 4PL.
The Vern doesn't Q itself. No workout does. Not a bootcamp or a run or a ruck. We need men to step up and lead. Anchovy did just that. Start on time, end on time. Go the long way, make it hard.
The Standard Vern. Hard run to Arnies. 10 pullups, run a lap, 20 dips, run a lap, 25 Americans, run a lap, 30 LBCs, run a lap. Repeato x 4. Hard run back to Summit.
Swampy was first back across the double whites and earned the FKT. Swingstate started an 8th round but finished like 5th. You do the math. Awesome to have Frontline join the pax. He is on a tear after the Incogs scared him away from F3 then brought him back. He only has one speed…fast. Safely back at 810 above sea level, Frodo was moving. Hoodie and Perrier toed the line. Big group of Turncoat, Big Montana Tuffy, Enron, and Tammy Faye all put in work as they do.
FKT is for every pax. All it takes is all you've got. The Vern never disappoints. MQ Appreciation night is TONIGHT, 5:30 PM at Summit. Come join and YHC will buy you a beer or coffee. Christmas Party is 12/2, more details to come.
Thankful for Anchovy's leadership and for the pax's constant encouragement and motivation. Go out in the world and positively impact someone else today. Until the next time…
