You Don’t Have to Run Far to Run Far — Canuck 10/18/22

Event Date

AO

Totally unplanned, but our route made an interesting shape (see Twitter).  Kicked off with a lap of the church lot and some ISTs, Long Snappers, Toy Soldiers, Wind Mills, followed by a mosey to the bottom of the driveway into the park, where we selected rocks and did a 25/5 curls and squats (running to the gates); skull crushers and lunges to the speed bump, then chest press, Rock LBC to 15 IC.  Followed by a round of 7's.

Mosey back to parking lot the long way and count off.

– Canuck was form police on the curls, teaching JB how to go ALL THE WAY DOWN.  Plus he named the backblast — safe to say Canuck was on form today.

– The hill seemed ok, but was a bitch by the end of our curls and squats, so we modified (and to save time).

– JB was hoping for a naming today, but Zach ended up not among the Pax.  Hope he makes it out for that second post soon.

Coffeeteria included Blackbeard and Bel-Aiir, along with a Ramrod sighting.  And I have to look up the 4 hour work week — sounds like my thing!

Good fun – and a definite workout to put into rotation.  You might see it again next time I Q Viking.  2.3 miles and a bunch of reps, and we certainly didn't go far.
