After last Saturday's Bailey Road Park sad-clown workout, YHC knew in advance there were 4 hard commits for this morning's offering. Blackbeard and Frontier had requested an early ruck and BRP would be the perfect 6am launching point for that and YHC happilly obliged to go along for the ride. Strava showed 2.98 miles were covered along with great conversation and fellowship.
The main event proceeded at 7am with a brief disclaimer as YHC set a goal for the PAX to cover 3 miles and visit every "nook and cranny" in Bailey Road Park. Highlights included warm-a-rama on the main soccer field, a .5 mile Commander run on the track, steps ups, incline and decline merkins on the wall along the side of the football field, and hitting the steps up and down between the football field and Baily Road Middle. A short run weaving around the poles at the parking lot and brief stop for Peoples Chair and "Balls to the Wall" was also mixed in.
Mosey back towards park and proceed down "K2", the long slow decline down into the park towards the Frisbee golf trails. PAX stopped for mobility moments.
Continue mosey towards tennis courts, stopping at hill for a descending burpee ladder and quadrophelia.
Mosey to tennis courts for "J-Lo"(aka Serena Williams) and "Separaters" (I believe this was the more appropriate name AirStream recommended for what used to be called suicides) (Good call AirStream, but please correct me here if the name is wrong)
Mosey down trail towards "90210" (the Bailey Road section that looks like a half-pipe) and up hill stopping at Hwy 115 for burpees and monkey humpers
Mosey back towards park stopping at WolfPack playground for Air Squats and pulls.
Mosey back to starting point and finished with MARY
Lots of details missing here but so proud of this team of PAX covering the full 3 miles!
PAX had several Blackbeard and Frontier sightings throughout the workout as they continued their ruck/walk! Great job fellas!

FNG-1 is Tight Rope – hopefully he's getting setup on the website….
Noteworthy
- Great seeing Blackbeard out while he continues his recovery towards 100%
- Awesome seeing some of the OG's of BRP like Mayhem (a former MQ here) and Primo! So good being with both of you! Thx Mayhem for offering to Q on 11/12! YHC will be DR that weekend so that works out perfectly!
- Primo makes running look soooooo effortless and easy and I think that's what makes him such a beast. Look for an endorsement deal signing by Primo soon with Saucony!
- Kudos to Jersey Boy on his play "The Candy Man" which aired live Thursday, Friday and Saturday through Davidson Community Players
- Great having the "Godfather of Pain" Soprano join us. You lived up to your name Saturday brother, throwing in 10 burpees right at the end of the workout to an already completely exhausted PAX. Wow! Strong!
- Strong work by a very relaxed Canuck coming off his sports massage!
- So good having Airstream and Tight Rope at Bailey Road park as both have been active with F3 Lake Norman for a short period of time but already crushing workouts! Nice work to both of you!
- BRP is seriously a great place for what F3 calls Adult Recess and YHC is always honored to Q here. Little PAX trivia: BRP was the first Saturday workout planted in the Lake Norman area in the Fall of 2011.
- Thanks for Canuck for closing us with prayer!
Humbly in Christ,
Possum
