There has to be burpees

16 of the fittest, fastest, fartlekiest pax from Isotope prepared to dominate the Hardcore Hill segment at the Huntersville Half. Here is their story:

Turnpike and YHC met The Standard for ~2 miles as the pax congregated from all across Macwyndale. Mulligan refused to join us despite running the exact same route…allegedly.

YHC delivered the plan. A brief warm up in search of the lit tunnel and then meet at the top of Travolta Hill Hardcore Hill. AMRAP hill repeats and mosey back to the AO. Perrier reminded the pax that we start on time end on time and marveled at the lack of burpees so we attended to both.

Sounds like the Spartan Beast was a beast. Congrats to all the pax that crushed that event!

Most pax got in ~4.25 miles and 5 hill repeats this morning. Lots of hard work on hill repeats. Jorel popped out of nowhere and got extra credit on that other Hardcore Hill. Always puts a smile on YHC’s face when posting with Snake Eyes. Check out his clothing brand…looks awesome: https://theappropriatewear.com/

THE Hall Monitor was there talking OSU football and conspiracy theory. Turnpike was listening. Popcorn had his shirt off and all ready with no one to shirtless aquaman. Heal up Jobe.

Everyone HC for the Christmas Party which starts this Friday, December 2nd, at 6:30 PM at Eleven Lakes Brewing. Awards, raffle, and announcements are at 8:30 PM. All it takes is a donation to Operation Sweet Tooth. Can’t wait, it should be an awesome evening.

Speaking of Huntersville Half…register to volunteer at the F3 water stations with Perrier on 12/10. Bring your M and kids. Make it a family friendly event. Register here: huntersvillehalf.raceroster.com/volunteer for stations 1 & 5 or 2 & 6 and reach out to Perrier directly to confirm.

Thanks for the opportunity to Q at Fartlek, Turnpike (and for joining on The Standard). Thanks to the LFC Men’s Ministry for the EH (Email headlock) in my case and to the pax for the constant encouragement and motivation. Until the next time…
