8 of the fastest runners in Isotope (including YHC’s 2.0 now known as Yahtzee) were led by a complete amateur at Night Ranger. Here is their story:
Apparently Sharknado can only be run while drinking white claws or Shirley temples or something. We’ll never know because just like Thunder Levin, Jaws didn’t bless the workout or show up tonight.
Camelbak was there though and HC to Q FKT. Don’t listen to Pitstop, you don’t have to run fast or feed cats. All it takes is all you’ve got.
We disclaimed, we warmed up the only appropriate way, run the decks, then hit 2 rounds of Sharknado with quadraphelia up the decks and exercises at each landing.
Crocs kept asking for more burpees so we left the storm behind and hit broad jump burpees with an AYG to the top. 1/4 turn jump squats at the top & AYG back to the bottom.
Pitstop kept asking to use the elevator so we searched in all the wrong places. Guess we’ll hit the stairs. Run the odd floors, bunny hop the even. It was uneventful as there was only a couple floors. Back to the bottom.
HSB loves bear crawls & Jedi likes lunges so let’s do those. Then AYG to the top. A couple Mericans & squats and were back to the bottom for a proper Mary.
Tacos & beers were delivered as promised. Thanks to Mr Holland for pickin’ up the Hop Drop. Prayers up to all the families coping with loss especially as it relates to their mom. Moms are so important in a man’s life. They are the glue of our families. They teach us how to love and show us how to be loved. They teach us about compassion and discipline and sacrifice and my heart goes out to all the men struggling with the loss of theirs. Aye.

You men inspire and keep YHC accountable and YHC is so thankful that Yahtzee is now officially part of that brotherhood. He crushed the 5K on Friday night and the bootcamp tonight so he needed a real F3 name. We already have a Tuffy. The game is changing, at least in my household. It’s getting real and for that YHC is thankful. Sometimes it’s good to be an amateur. Until the next time…
