As I arrived at our launch spot I saw a trail of headlamps heading in. Everyone but YHC had done a couple miles for a standard. We launched and headed back to Arnie’s normal spot.
The bars were unfriendly at best this morning. About halfway through YHC felt a sudden urge to merlot but held it together. However after 7 rounds I called it and headed back early. All others finished the Murph as they should and we all met back at Summit.
Not sure if it was my freezing hands, or the fact that my daughter had the flu the other day…but something was off for me. Nothing a little rest won’t fix.
The others who are “training” for the next thing all seemed okay.
Sorry for the early exit guys, thanks for making the choice to be uncomfortable today.
