0508: I pulled into the Summit parking lot…normal day, but wait there is another car in the lot, but no one in it. Hoodie shows, then a Poptart looking fresh in a new ride. Then out of the gloom runs Matlock. A 2 mile standard just wasn’t enough for him. Bravo, gotta catch up on the LKN miles.
0510: We rolled out for a 2 mile standard, with a faster 2nd mile to get back in time for the launch
0530: While some will debate if we started on time, at Odyssey we do it different. Name o rama followed by COT to start…right on time. Poptart left as we were starting Name o rama, so no credit today…better luck next time. The Q started to explain the new route until someone suggested we just go and figure out it out, so we did. It didn’t take long for the complaints of “I thought this was pb as an easy run.” It did, what is your point…when was the last pb that was accurate? I’m waiting… As the run went on, we determined the root cause of everyone not making it to F3 in the morning. It has to do with 5 seconds…taking longer, in this case, isn’t good. Ask Hoodie about it.
Now to the new miles…we finally ran 2 roads no one had run before which is hard to do from Summit. A connector to the island and then an out and back past Hotel Huntersville on the island.
0516: Back at Summit. Start on time, end on time. I will improve.
Thanks to Hoodie for the chance to Q Odyssey the premier AO in the region, which he has Made Great Again.
