As YHC is standing in front of Starbucks at 0530 and saw no one it became apparent that one of two things has happened. I was either in the wrong launch location or I was going to be a sad clown today. Being this was my first visit to Emmaus I assumed it was me being in the wrong location. I began running laps around Birkdale Village waiting to find the glow of a headlamp in the gloom. After a few laps, I determined it was indeed just me (For Now). Instead of going home I decided to tell the path of least resistance to F off and decided to push forward anyway. I began running with pain stations (50 merkins at each stop). As I came back past Starbucks, around the halfway mark, I saw Toby strolling out of Starbucks with a cup of coffee and a pastry. He made the mistake of setting his alarm clock for PM vs AM. Regardless of his late start to the morning, he got out of bed drove to the AO and jumped right in, and finished the workout with me. Strong effort their brother.
