3 For the Fallout

I decided against a 3rd convergence in a row and we stayed home for Fallout this week. Drebin and Elmers joined me in the cold for a tour of the AO while everyone else was at Gladiator for QvQ or at Viking for Chilly’s VQ, and a bunch of runners continue to avoid bootcamps while they “train” for some race this weekend bc apparently pushups make you run slower.

Warmorama – lap around the track to get warm, then…

  • SSH x20 IC
  • IST x10 IC
  • Toy Soldiers x10 IC
  • Long snapper x10 IC
  • Merkins x10 IC

Thang

A simple, yet effective workout to keep the heart rate elevated for 45ish minutes. Mosey up to the loading dock for 2 rounds of 30 second lazy dock worker holds with 2 more rounds of merkins x10 IC – gotta get to 100 this morning. Mosey up to the road and get in 25 slow LBC’s IC – mosey over to the front of Bradley for another set of 25 slow LBC’s IC for 100 total. Mosey down to the shelter for another 10 merkins IC, mosey back to the parking lot for the final 10 merkins diamond grip IC for 100 total. Throw in 3 rounds of 30 step ups with a lap in between, and 2 rounds of single leg glute bridges with a lap in between, and that’s your workout for the day.

Moleskin

  • Always seems tougher getting going on these cold mornings when the calendar tells you it’s Spring, but the weather still thinks it’s Winter
  • Elmers saw the #pb and decided to show – glad he decided to join us this morning, you can always count on a great effort and attitude from him
  • Drebin coming up on his 1 year anniversary soon – keep an eye out for a 1 yr Q from him. Solid effort as always this morning as he continues to recover from vacation.
