Rubbermaid Rock-A-Rama at Berean

YHC greeted in the covered parking deck at Birkdale village by Peart Plus at 5:05.  The rest of the PAX filed in shortly thereafter across from Starbucks.  It was a great mix of men this AM, both young and relatively old (50’s is relatively old compared to 20-something), and YHC proud of the men who participated given a good chance of rain.

It went done something like this….

Mosey to Dick’s Sporting Goods for a brief warm-a-rama including a mobility moment and ending with a healthy dose of merkins.

Mosey to the Berean “slippery” bridge where an audible was called to walk across said “slippery” bridge.

Mosey towards Northcross Drive crossing over where each PAX selected a non-traveling rock.

Rock work completed at the standard corner including bent-over rows, curls and shoulder presses.  Some scattered complaining about muddy rucks made for some good mumble-chatter, as did reflecting on the gritty Miami win over Texas.  YHC, not hearing Moses’ analysis of the game, repeated a similar analysis which caused PAX to harass the Q.   Had to be there to appreciate the humor.

Mosey towards Rubbermaid (now named Newell) parking lot where Pledge of Allegiance was recited in reverence to our great country.  A healthy dose of incline merkins were performed on the brick ledge followed by air squats.  Repeato.  Lots of complaining about an excessive number of reps on the merkins.

Mosey back to rock pile for repeato.  This is where it got a little dicey.  One of the PAX, who will go unnamed for his own protection, apparently and purposely skipped ahead on the rep count while doing curls, which resulted in YHC stopping two reps short of the desired rep count.

Mosey back towards Rubbermaid lot for a repeato of incline merkins and air squats.  Donkey kicks were thrown in for good measure.

Mosey back to rock pile to return them to their original location.

Mosey back across bridge, stopping at the other side of bridge in plank position.

Mosey to first covered parking deck for a mix of MARY and alternating 2 laps around parking lot x 2.

Mosey back to starting position.
