Given the less than desirable weather conditions, this morning looked like a potential sad-clown workout for YHC but instead turned into one of those mornings which embodied the core principals of why F3 is so effective and compelling: Men showing up for each other, supporting each other, holding each other accountable and creating lasting bonds in the gloom that simply make us better men at home, in the workplace and in the community. 

After a brief warm-a-rama at Broadway, the covered amphitheater in the park, the conditions looked favorable to complete the guaranteed 2 miles YHC promised in the pre-blast.

Canuck, Chilly and YHC headed over to the track for a 10+ minute mile fellowship pace. During this time we were able to have great conversation about golf, tennis, soccer, and Canuck’s difficult work week. After discussing Canuck’s surprise for his 2.0 (an almost new Honda CRV), YHC explained to the PAX that there is biblical proof that Jesus also drove a Honda. In John 12:49, Jesus clearly explains, “I did not speak of my own accord.”.  YHC barely got a chuckle from the PAX but still thinks it’s a pretty funny joke. 

PAX finished the workout with a round of BLMF’ers and a bit more moseying around the parking lot until our Garmin’s confirmed the guaranteed 2 miles.
