Cats, Cows, Dogs, Flows and Tennis Balls


12 Pax gathered at the Wynfield Forest Clubhouse, probably for one of the last indoor stretches for this season. This being the first Q for YHC, it all started with a brian fade moment, when Toxic uttered the word “Disclaimer!”.

We went over the warmarama with some neck hygiene, hand movements, flaps, forward folds, back stretches, cats, cows, yogic squats.

We then followed it by Flow exercise 5 times, here is the half of the Flow – 

    1. Back Strech
    2. Forward Fold
    3. Left side runner’s lunge
    4. Plank
    5. On to the Floor
    6. Updog
    7. Downdog
    8. Right side runner’s lunge
    9. Forward Fold
    10. Raise up

For the full flow, just do the same on the other side.

We went our the circle and each of the PAX came up with their own stretch exercise for the team. 

Finally, we used tennis balls to do some stretch/massage of the feet, glutes, hamstrings, calves, back and ended it all by doing the pegion with the ball underneath the extended leg.
