9 pax gathered in the gloom, most of which were surprised to see Waffle House taking up the helm at a rarely visited AO. What can I say — I’m a Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays guy (queue Jimmy Buffett). But when Soprano reached out, I was happy to oblige. Here’s what we did:
Mosey to Dick’s parking lot for some SSH, IST, Long Snapper (Lil Professors), Toy Soldier, Windmill, pretzel stretch, and a hip mobility exercise that has not yet been named. Random counts, ranging from 8-16, in cadence.
Mosey to top of Regal theater lot, starting at back corner, we did 5 Mericans IC, mosey to end of row, 10 IC, end of next row, 15 IC, next row, 10 IC, next row, 5 IC. Repeat the same counts in the Dick’s lot with squats, and in the Bundt Cakes lot with pretzel crunches (each leg).
Mosey back to Dick’s lot for mobility moment (down dog, up dog, pigeon, etc etc).
Mosey back to Regal lot for 5-10-10-5 Carolina Dry Docks, Dick’s lot for reverse lunge, Bundt Cakes lot for LBCs. Mosey a little more to get 2 miles, recover recover.
Moleskine:
- Hope it was somewhat fun — a little OCD with the counts and getting through all the rounds, but hopefully that persistence pays off with fitness.
- Thanks Hippie for taking us out, and for all the pax and their support this morning.
- Excellent coffeeteria with a large posting, including some carryovers from the Mighty Oak (and JB for Toby Talks). We missed Primo and Chilly Willy, but the rest were able to stop for a cup.
It was a pleasure — I’ll be back.
